Chicopee, MA 2nd Alarm + Special Call 100 Debra Drive 7/14/12

The call for this job came in shortly before 2:30 a.m. as a fire alarm activation in the apartment complex. Upon arrival, Car 21 (CFD Deputy Chief) advised he had heavy black smoke showing on the Debrah Drive side of the structure. Once the fire began breaking through the roof, the Deputy pulled all companies from the interior and switched to a defensive attack calling in a second alarm with an extra engine above the second.
